What’s better than spending a beautiful Fall day outside in nature? Join ACT for a great day of trail work, and help us celebrate National Public Lands Day in the Cooley-Jericho Community Forest!
A forest for all, the Community Forest is an 840-acre expanse in Easton that is full of wildlife and outdoor recreation opportunities for the whole family. The entrance of the forest has stunning views of the Franconia Ridge Trail.
Help us build our trail network, and cut back some of the new plant growth from this summer. This is a great opportunity to meet people involved with the outdoor community of the North Country, and check out some of the bog bridges that were built this summer by AMC teen crews!
We will be meeting in the parking lot off of Trumpet Round Road. Please wear sturdy boots, and long pants that can withstand brambles. Bring your favorite clippers and hand saw, pack a bag lunch, and bring water. Children are welcome to attend with an adult. ACT will provide light refreshments. Park in the parking area off of Trumpet Round Road.
