Exploratory Walk on the Forest

Winter is a great time to explore the CJCF.

Join us for a beautiful walk out in the Forest! It’s great time to see what’s been on the land by the tracks they leave  – we’ll hope for bobcat, fisher, and maybe that elusive American marten. We also hope to catch some good afternoon light and if we’re lucky a winter sunset.  This walk will be led by ACT Board member and naturalist Steve Sabre and ACT’s Rebecca Brown. Dogs and kids are welcome! Be prepared for some uphill but not difficult walking.

When: Saturday, February 7th, from 1:30 – 4:30 PM.

Where: Meet and park on the Landaff side at the end of Jim Noyes Hill Road.

Please bring snowshoes or traction such as Yaktrax! Call our office at 603.823.7777 if you have any questions. If the weather is really brutal we’ll postpone – call the office for a recorded message that morning and check this website for updates.
