Build Mountain Bike Trails in Community Forest with FA-NEMBA

Great opportunity to work with FA-NEMBA (Franconia – New England Mountain Biking Association) and help build biking trails in the Community Forest. ACT Stewardship Team member and avid biker Suzanne Beauchesne will be leading these work days. Please email her at bobandsuzanne74@gmail.com with any questions.

When: Saturday, October 10th and November 7th

Time: 8:45 meet at parking area; the hike up will take a 1/2 hour; trail work will begin at 9:15

Where: Trumpet Round Road, Sugar Hill. Park on the gravel at the end of road or drive an SUV up to landing if vehicle clearance allows. Meet at the parking lot at the end of the bog bridges. See attached map for more details.

What to Bring: foliage clearing tools, loppers, clippers, Pulaski, grub hoe, crow bars, rakes, shovels, water, food and energy!

October 19th at 5:30, Franconia Town Hall, there will be a FA-NEMBA Management Team Meeting that is open to everyone. Get the latest updates and information about mountain biking trails in the Franconia area!
